Bulk Disable AD User Accounts
This guide walks through how to bulk disable Active Directory user accounts using the AD Pro Toolkit.
Step 1. Create a csv with a list of users you want to disable.
The CSV must have one of the following headers to identify the accounts:
- SamAccountName (default)
- EmployeeID
- EmployeeNumber
- UserPrincipalName
Tip: Use the export tool or any of the user reports to generate a csv list of users.

Step 2. Open the Bulk user Modification Tool
Step 3. Click on Update Options
Next to Account Status select disable.

Step 4. Select your csv file and click run.

You can check the account in Active Directory or use the disabled Users report to verify the account status.
Use the search box to find a specific account.
