Before you start
- A Windows machine to install it on. Windows 10, Windows 11 or Windows Server.
- Global Administrator rights, needed once to authorize the app in your tenant. Your password is not stored, and once the app is authorized you can delegate access to regular users.

Installation steps
- Run the
365ProToolkit.exeinstaller. - On the Welcome screen, click Next.
- Accept the end user license agreement and click Next.
- Click Next on the Select Installation Folder screen.
- Click Next to start the install.
After the install
The toolkit runs as a Windows service and serves its interface in a browser.
- Open
http://localhost:8082on the machine you installed it on. - Work through the setup screen to create your first sign-in.
- Connect your Microsoft 365 tenant. This is the step that needs a Global Administrator, because it consents to the permissions the toolkit uses. Once connected, the first sync starts by itself.
The first sync pulls your whole tenant, so on a large tenant give it time before judging the reports. Dashboards fill in as each source finishes.
