Send password expiration notification emails to end users before their passwords expire. The tool checks Active Directory on a schedule, identifies accounts nearing expiration, and sends personalized email reminders directly to each user. Users can change their password themselves before it expires, this will help reduce helpdesk calls and account lockouts.

How Password Expiration Notifications Work
The AD Password Notification tool checks Active Directory daily for accounts with passwords that are about to expire. When it finds a user within the notification window (for example, 14 days before expiry), it automatically sends that user an email reminder with their exact expiration date and the customize message you enter. The tool runs as a scheduled task in the background, so once configured, notifications go out without any manual work or scripting.
Customize the Email Notification Template
The email template is fully customizable. Edit the subject line, message body, and instructions to match your company’s branding and password policy. Insert dynamic fields like the user’s name, exact expiration date, and days remaining so each email is personalized. You can also enable a 2nd notification so you can send a separate customized message as the expiration date gets closer.
View Logs to Verify Email Notifications
Click the Log tab to verify notifications are being send to end users. You can use the search box to filter the results for example if you want to check a specific user or email address.

The password expiration dashboard gives you a real-time view of every account and its password status. See which users have passwords expiring in the next 7, 14, or 30 days, which have already expired, and which have password never expires enabled. Filter the dashboard by expiration time or search for a specific user.
