Active Directory Group Management with AD Pro Toolkit

Manage Active Directory security and distribution groups from a single console. Add or remove members in bulk, create new groups, copy memberships between groups, and update group properties, all without writing PowerShell scripts. AD Pro Toolkit also includes built-in group reports so you can quickly export group members, view nested memberships, and find which groups a user belongs to.

Bulk Membership Updates

Adding or removing users from groups with ADUC is slow and tedious, and PowerShell scripts require exact syntax and are prone to errors. AD Pro Toolkit lets you select users individually or import a list from CSV to update group memberships across multiple groups at once no scripts, no switching between windows.

Bulk Add & Remove Members

Use AD Pro Toolkit to add or remove users from multiple Active Directory groups at once. Bulk group membership changes that used to require Add-ADGroupMember and Remove-ADGroupMember scripts now take just a few clicks.

Group Membership Reports

Quickly see which groups a user belongs to or list all members of a specific group, including nested memberships. AD Pro Toolkit generates detailed group membership reports that can be exported to CSV for auditing, compliance, or documentation. Run reports on demand or schedule them to be emailed automatically.

Copy User Group membership

Copy all group memberships from one user to another with a single click. This is useful when onboarding new employees who need the same access as an existing team member. AD Pro Toolkit copies security and distribution group memberships instantly, no need to manually look up and add each group.

Delegate AD group management

AD Pro Toolkit lets you delegate group management tasks without giving full access to the toolkit. This is useful when helpdesk or other staff need to make changes to groups but don’t need access to other features.

Bulk Add or Remove Users to Groups

Create Groups

Instructions:

1. Click on Group Management > Create Groups
2. Download the included CSV template. The template includes the following group attributes:
   • Name = Name of the group
   • distinguishedName = This is the location where the new groups will be created.
   • groupCategory
   • groupScope
   • description
   • mail
3. Fill out the template with your group details Example CSV.
4. Select your template and click run.

Copy User Groups

Instructions:

1. Click on Group Management > Copy User Groups
2. Select the source user
3. Select the destination user
4. Click “run” to copy the user groups from the source user to the destination user

Bulk Modify Groups

Instructions:

1. Download CSV Template
2. Enter group details
3. Select CSV file and click run.
